Information you enter

When you add names, expenses, countdown titles, Secret Santa details, or other tool data, that information is used to make the tool work in your browser. Split Kitty does not require an account and does not ask for passwords or payment details.

Browser storage

Some tool state is saved locally in your browser so you can return to the same group or session later. Clearing your browser storage or using another device may remove that saved state.

Share links

Share links can include the names, expenses, dates, or assignment details needed to recreate a read-only result. Anyone with a share link may be able to view the information encoded in that link, so only share it with people who should see it.

Analytics and performance

Split Kitty may use privacy-conscious analytics and performance measurement to understand which pages are useful, detect errors, and improve the product. These tools can collect technical information such as page views, browser type, device type, and approximate region.

Advertising

Split Kitty may display ads through Google AdSense or similar advertising services. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show, measure, and limit ads. You can manage ad personalization through your browser and Google account settings.
